If you see a page of text search results, the site of a video thumbnail stops the eye and catches it. It just does.
Since search engines started showing videos as part of search results, web marketers have been trying to get their videos ranking. Sometimes you can rank a video onto first page in a short time better than a web page that you’ve had for awhile.
Some manage to get their video to show up fast in search results only to see it disappear.
How does one get it to stick
? I was wondering that myself when I watched this video that shows that you CAN get a video to stick in the search results when you know how to do it.

It works well for most local business markets because the keywords are not that competitive. Don’t expect miracles for high-competition words, though.
I wonder about how long this method will last before things change, but so far it helps. Get the traffic while you can.
