If you see a page of text search results, the site of a video thumbnail stops the eye and catches it. It just does.
Since search engines started showing videos as part of search results, web marketers have been trying to get their videos ranking. Sometimes you can rank a video onto first page in a short time better than a web page that you’ve had for awhile.
Some manage to get their video to show up fast in search results only to see it disappear.
How does one get it to stick
? I was wondering that myself when I watched this video that shows that you CAN get a video to stick in the search results when you know how to do it.
Learn how to do it HERE.
It works well for most local business markets because the keywords are not that competitive. Don’t expect miracles for high-competition words, though.
I wonder about how long this method will last before things change, but so far it helps. Get the traffic while you can.

Online video is used in various ways for both marketing and advert
ising.
Video can be used to directly promote a product/service OR to just get attention and send traffic to the website that has
the promotion. Related to that, it can be used on a popular video site like YouTube to increase search engine rankings of your site by linking to it from there – giving it more “authority” in Google’s ranking system.

If you use a persuasive sales page, the reader will respond more to a video with just a little curiosity-grabbing text, than to a long text salespage. Videos are especially effective to SHOW a demo of what your product can do, or sample results of your work, rather than trying to explain it. People also respond better to a human voice behind it than to text.
If you notice the Google search results when you enter in broad keywords, you will often see a small sample of images as well as videos. Sometimes, advertisers whose sites have not ranked well with text have managed to get on page 1 of search results by use of a popular (often viewed and linked to) video with those same keywords. Use of video on various high-traffic video sites that include a link to your website CAN help boost your site’s rankings as well, though that is no longer as easy as it was in, say, 2006 or 2007.
